Nice Photograph du Jour

These are three students of the legendary Hanya Holm executing beautiful grand jetés on the campus of Colorado College (circa 1941). Holm, a German immigrant, was one of the founders of American modern dance and for 43 years ran the summer dance program at the college. She remained active in the dance world until her death in 1992 at age 99.
The diminutive Holm would tell her students:
An atom takes up very little space but it can set the world afire; so can you.
