New Jersey: Another Official Bites the Dust

Yet another New Jersey state official has been forced to quit because of an ethical lapse.
Attorney General Zulima V. Farber resigned this week after a special prosecutor released a report harshly criticizing her for interceding with the police on behalf of her companion during a traffic stop in May. After hearing that he had been stopped for driving with an expired license and suspended registration, she had a state trooper drive her to the scene in her official car. Once she showed up, the local officers, who had been about to impound her companion’s car, instead let him drive it home.
What is it with New Jersey? If you haven't already read my essay on A New Jersey State of Mind, check it out here toand you'll have the answer.
