Black Americans Plan To Go Fishin'

It was inevitable there would be stories about how black Americans will be staying home next Tuesday to watch the Obama inauguration instead of mopping floors and busing restaurant tables.

Yeah, I know I'm being a little tough and probably would have assigned this kind of story if I was still a newspaper editor, but it just doesn't sit quite right considering that there weren't stories about white people staying home for the Bush inaugurations as a similar gesture of racial solidarity.
