The New York Giants are a damned good football team. Too bad they have a distraction like serial idiot Plaxico Burress, a receiver who seldom makes an off-the-field print appearance without the word "troubled" appearing in the same sentence.
In his latest caper, Burress shot himself in the leg with an unlicensed gun at a Manhattan nightclub and then allegedly got Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce, who seems otherwise sane, to stash the weapon.
