
The late 1950s Chrysler Imperials with their wild Virgil Exner-designed fins and gunsight taillamps were one of the two favorite car models of my youth, and I in fact built scale plastic models of both. (The other was the Chevrolet Nomad.)
Chrysler's luxury barge . . . er, flagship died a painful death in the mid-1970s, but may make a comeback based on a concept car unveiled at the Detroit auto show. The New York Times has more here.
