You coulda knocked me over with a thumb drive when I read that the Federal Communications Commission, the folks who are pushing net neutrality for better or worse, has a new regulation stating the bloggers must disclose whether they are being compensated by a manufacturer, advertiser or practically anyone else when they review an item.
The penalty for not complying is up to $11,000 per violation, although the FCC says fines would be a last resort. More here.
