John Yoo: 'And' Not Really A Conjunction

For being but one lawyerly dweeb of many who labored for the White House, John Yoo caused an enormous amount of damage. His junk-law blatherings at Justice's Orifice of Legal Counsel justifying the use of torture are by now well known, but it turns out he also was smoking funny cigarettes when he issued several memos in the run-up to the Iraq war that are variations on the "I'm The President So I Can Do Anything I Want" meme.

My favorite of this trove of newly unearthed meme-ohs is a lengthy soliloquy on the meaning of the word "and" which Yoo concludes should not be construed as a conjunction.
