Dana Reeve, the class-act widow of class-act actor Christopher Reeve, has followed her husband to the Big Upstairs.Reeve, a lifelong non-smoker, died Monday night of lung cancer at age 44. She was chairwoman of the Christopher Reeve Foundation, which funds research for new treatments for spinal cord injuries like the one her husband suffered in a horseback riding accident in 1995.
Christopher Reeve, who made a remarkable if incomplete comeback from the accident, died in 2004 at age 52 after slipping into a coma.
