The system isn't just broken, it's utterly dysfunctional from top to bottom. Several months on no one seems interested in dealing with the roots of the problem, only succoring the people who created the crisis with untold billions of dollars of our money. Oh, and the person tasked with investigating Bernard Madoff when the SEC was tipped off to his scheming couldn't find her ass with a flashlight.
