I took Ralph Peters to task yesterday (see Iraq Through Rose Colored Glasses) for his ludicrous assertion in a New York Post column that everything was hunky-dory in Iraq and that it was the fault of the Big Bad Liberal Media that delicate American minds were being contaminated with apocryphal stories of suicide bombings, shootouts, assassinations and all the bad other stuff that has become the theme music for the U.S. occupation.
Well, the liberal media is at it again, reporting today that at least 29 bodies, most of them hanged, were found in Baghdad over a 20-hour period.
In fairness to Peters, who can't see his nose for his face, the New York Times noted in reporting on this latest outrage that the deadly sectarian battles that followed the Feb. 22 bombing of the Golden Mosque seem not to have abated, but merely gone underground.
