Are Toyotas Turning On Their Owners?

Is Toyota's defense in the sudden acceleration scandal that has rocked its xenophobic corporate world going to be that there are undetectable computer gremlins? Or as Popular Mechanics puts it, a theory that "taps into our almost instinctual fear that our machines will suddenly turn on us."

Meanwhile, the giant automaker continues to shit on its credibility with the revelation that it employed two former National Transportation Safety board hacks to advise it on how to make less comprehensive responses to its brake failure problems on four different occasions.
