Mind you, I have nothing against Diane Sawyer, but I can't remember the last time I watched the "ABC Evening News," or for that matterany of the other network evening newscasts.
So I was kind of taken aback by the lavish coverage this rearranging of the deck chairs is receiving. After all, a woman anchor is no longer a novelty. Besides which, network news is going the way of the dinosaur. And who's gonna miss Charles Gibson?
