I raked Elizabeth Edwards over the coals and then some at the height of the John and Rielle Scandal, portraying her as a woman who, like Hillary Clinton, worshiped at the altar of political prominence and power, so much so that she overlooked clear evidence of her husband's philandering while contributing to his phony public persona and then circled he own wagon when confronted with the truth.
Strong words that I still stand by, but now we have a first-hand account of the hell that she went through.
