'Jepilpilin Ke Ejukaan'

I am not into blogging for the money ('cause I don't make any) nor the ego gratification ('cause I got my ya-yas out over a long career in dead-tree journalism). Nor do I breathlessly track the number of people who read my deathless prose. But I get absolutely giddy when a visitor from a new country knocks on the door to Kiko's House, comes in and sticks around for a while.

This modest blog logged its 130th country (*) last week-- the Micronesian flyspecks known as the Marshall Islands. That was hard on the heals of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cameroon and Rwanda.

The other 125 are:

Albania Algeria, Andorra, Argentina, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Brunei, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cote d’Ivoire, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Guam, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kazakistan, Kenya, Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao, Macedonia, Maldives, Malta, Mariana Islands, Martinique, Mauritius, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Korea, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia and Montenegro, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, St. Vincent, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA, Uruguay, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia.
