Allegations that the U.S. Supreme Court is politicized are nearly as old as the court itself, but the lengths to which the conservative and right-wing justices have gone to politicize their roles in the age of Bush is unprecedented in modern history. It therefore comes as no surprise that a public that gives its president approval ratings in the low- to mid-20th percentile and Congress even lower ratings, can barely muster a 31 percent approval rating for the men (and woman) in the black bathrobes and some 60 percent believe that the justices have their own political agendas, according to a new poll.
