Behold The Specter of 'Ghost Gas'

Betcha didn't know that retail gasoline prices are based on a temperature of 60 degrees F. Since the volume of gas expands in heat, the hotter its gets the more you're paying for less gas. Swell, huh? More here.

Here's a sampling of what folks are paying for a gallon of gasoline across the pond: Netherlands ($9.84), Belgium ($9.20), Germany and Italy ($8.93), France ($8.80) and United Kingdom ($8.74). Feel better? I didn't think so.
