In one of the more unusual chapters in international diplomacy, Irani President Ahmadinejad reached out to George Bush this week in the form of a lengthy letter. It was not a mash note by any means. It did not address Iran's nuculur . . . er, nuclear program. But did have its thoughtful elements.
As our friend Doomsy notes, Ahmadinejad is a terrorist coward. Nevertheless, Bush and Secretary of State Rice have blown a great opportunity to try to win hearts and minds by not responding to him.
This is where you come in. Doomsy is inviting you to write a response. He'll post them on his Liberal Doomsayer blog and for all I know, also hand deliver them to Teheran if he doesn't have to stay home and mow the lawn.
