The story of Libyan intelligence officer Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, who was convicted for the Pam Am Flight 103 bombing above Lockerbie, Scotland that took the lives of 189 Americans and 81 others, is a case in point.

You see, Al-Megrahi has just been returned to Libyan on compassionate grounds.
