There are advocates aplenty for a so-called one state solution to the historic Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which at the moment is doing a pretty good imitation of being a protracted war.
I happen to think that is a lousy solution, and apparently so does the Israeli parliament's Central Election Committee, which has banned Arab political parties from running in next month's elections.
