The estimable Dick Polman, writing at American Debate, notes that Giuliani has used no fewer than six different defenses, five alone in recent days, in response to all the crap and corruption tied to him, including the new revelation that he assigned an off-the-books security detail to protect Judith Nathan, his mistress and future third wife:
