Did you hear the one about the piano being found near the top of Britain's highest mountain?

It's no joke.

Volunteers clearing stones from the 4,418 foot peak of Ben Nevis in Scotland were astonished this week when they discovered the musical instrument.

The squad was removing litter and stones called cairns from the summit plateau when they spotted the top of the piano. Only the keyboard was missing.

A biscuit wrapper with a best-used-before date of December 1986 was found under the piano, offering a clue as to when the piano may have been carried to within 200 feet of the summit.
