Shehzad Tanweer has turned on its ear the theory that Islamic terrorists come from poverty.
Tanweer, who killed eight people at the Aldgate Tube station in London last July 7, left a tidy £121,000, or about $212,000 in American greenbacks.
The origins of Tanweer’s riches are unknown, although the 22-year-old terrorist worked part time at his family’s chip shop in Beeston, Leeds.
The £121,000 figure is the net value of his estate after loans, debts and funeral costs were paid. Tanweer left no will.
