I quite agree with Andrew Sullivan, who suggests that Sarah Palin somehow seems less formidable, as well as less scary, than she did when she burst onto the national political scene nearly a year and a half ago.
The big reason for me is that Palin has shown herself to be incapable of growth. As in doing the necessary work to move beyond being a curiosity as a half-term governor of a state with more caribou than people and become a serious politician for these serious times.
But beyond the musings of myself and others in the punditocracy, there is this: Sarah Palin's Alaska, her hit reality show, has proven herself without a doubt to be a fraud. Just as her not son-in-law Levi Johnston said early and often.
