It was obvious to me by the time I wrote this in August 2008 that Elizabeth Edwards' bid for sainthood needed to be put on hold -- indefinitely.
So the latest revelations concerning her hair-on-fire complicity in her ego monster president wannabe husband's affair (and mating) with Rielle Hunter probably do not have the shock value that they do for people who believed that she was a spouse besmirched.
