They're Coming To Get Ya, Uncle Dick
In one of those Alice in Wonderland-ish leaps of logic with which we became so familiar during the Bush Era, former Vice President Cheney has fought to keep his interview with the FBI during the fallout from the Valerie Plame affair confidential because making it public would discourage future vice presidents from cooperating with criminal investigations. In other words, they would stonewall instead of fulfilling their duty as a citizen, let alone a duly-elected one.
Now comes U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan, who basically tells Cheney to take a flying leap.
