Kevin Brady is sadly representative of the morons in the Greatest Deliberative Body in the World.
Congressman Brady, a Republican (natch) from Texas (ditto), called for a federal investigation after protesters who attended a Tea Party rally in Washington on Saturday said the D.C. Metro subway system apparently was unprepared to handle the million or so people that poured into the city. (Actually, there were about 70,000, but that's another story.)
It's possible that the protesters are right. The Metro is chronically underfunded and has had to cut back, including weekend service. But wouldn't ya know that when a transportation bill with $150 million in emergency maintenance funding for the Metro came up for a vote in July, You Know Who voted against it.
