Beyond the Obamas' protocol gaffs (Don't touch the Queen!) the big stories of the day are the worst unemployment numbers in 26 years and a leading Republican light asserting that Democrats are "overreacting" to the economic crisis after it was revealed that the parties own budget has no real figures.
