Hasta La Vista Vista. Zune, Too

Vista is been the Edsel of computer operating systems. Microsoft introduced the much maligned successor to Windows XP in January 2007 to widespread skepticism and it's been all downhill from there.

Vista has had so many compatibility and security issues that I don't know of a single person who likes it. Hence it is welcome news that the next generation Microsoft OS is dubbed Windows 7, a Beta version of which will be available beginning today.

Meanwhile, Microsoft also reportedly is giving up on Zune, its also-ran music player and shameless iPod clone.
