As I noted the other day, when all is said and done, Pakistan is a terrorist state.So it comes as no surprise that Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Pervez Musharraf's successor and the widower of Benazir Bhutto, was blowing smoke in a rose-colored op-ed piece in The New York Times the other day.
Any doubts about the "new" Pakistan being any different than the old one were dispelled when it made a show of arresting what it termed two leaders of the group that carried out the Mumbai attacks, including Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi (left), but now says it won't turn them over to India.
