Light Blogging Alert

Content here will be on the light side through New Year's Day. (Yeah, I know it sometimes seems that way even when there's a lot of stuff going on.)

Several reasons for this: I really want to enjoy the rest of the year, including the presence of the radiant DF&C, other loved ones and holiday good cheer to the max.

There's a foot or so of snow on the ground at the mountain retreat, so staring out the windows when not tramping around in the stuff is a priority. Also, traffic is typically down during this period, so why bust ass? Also also, I'm reading a ton about Abraham Lincoln and other subjects so I can blog up a storm after the New Year.
