Props to the clever Coney Island entrepreneur who has taken bad taste to a new level with the Waterboard Thrill Ride.
For one thin dollar, you can enter a storefront near the famous boardwalk with garish lettering, including SpongeBob SquarePants saying, "It don’t Gitmo better!"
You then climb a few steps to a small window with a scene right out of a Guantánamo Bay interrogation: A lifesize figure with his face covered by a towel and his body strapped down on a tilted surface gets water poured on him by a figure in a black hood and convulses against his retraints. Whee!
