House Torture Hearing Live On Radio

Pacifica Radio is broadcasting a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the Bush torture regime beginning at 9 a.m. EDT today.

Scheduled witnesses include Former Undersecretary of Defense Doug Feith and Philippe Sands, author of Torture Team: Rumsfeld's Memo and the Betrayal of American Values.

Feith was interviewed at length by Sands, but Feith denied having implicated fellow Bush administration members after publication of a Vanity Fair article based on the book. Unfortunately for Feith, he failed to recall that Sands had taped the interview.
