The heat index will be above 100 degrees F here in the Northeastern U.S. for the next day or so. If you have elderly or infirm neighbors or acquaintances, please take the time to look in on them, especially if they don't have air conditioning. Danke.

The northeast is frying. It's still snowing in the northwest. The midwest has large parts underwater. When you throw in all the spring tornadoes, I think it's safe to say Mother Nature is a little pissed off at us.
