That's kind of sort of shaping up to be a real possibility with the Colorado Rockies in their first World Series and the Cleveland Indians on the verge of eliminating the Boston Red Sox.
The "problem" is that both the Rockies and Indians are small TV market teams with no superstars, too damned many post-season games already are ending after midnight and because of the beyond ridiculous schedule, the Series won't commence until next Tuesday in Denver, some 23 days into October, which increases the chance of snow in Colorado, and for that matter in Cleveland, as well. The start times have not been announced, but it's a safe bet that there will be no day games, which is a frickin' sacrilege since it means few younger kids -- who are baseball's future, of course -- will be able to watch.
Color me pissed.
Don't count the Sox out just yet.... (although it may very well snow in Boston as much as Denver or Cleveland, and these days it looks like it may never snow again)
