Bin Laden Disses Democrats. Me Too.

Well, I never thought that The Bearded One and I would agree on anything, but we do live in strange times.

In a weird echo of my post yesterday on The Democrats: Profiles in Cowardice, Osama bin Laden excoriates the majority party for crapping out on its efforts to accelerate troop withdrawals from Iraq in a videotape as eagerly awaited as the Petraeus-Crocker progress report:

"People of America: the world is following your news in regards to your invasion of Iraq, for people have recently come to know that, after several years of tragedies of this war, the vast majority of you want it stopped. Thus, you elected the Democratic Party for this purpose, but the Democrats haven't made a move worth mentioning. On the contrary, they continue to agree to the spending of tens of billions to continue the killing and war there."

A transcript of OBL’s rambling 30-minute discourse obtained by ABC News does not contain overt threats to the U.S. as the 6^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that he masterminded approaches.
