A Thousand Here, a Thousand There . . .

. . . and after a while you’re talking about a lot of bodies.
The U.S. military announced today that a soldier was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq, pushing the four-year death toll for American forces to 3,501.
The count includes 23 deaths in the first six days of June, an average of about four per day.
