Kiko's House has run 300 or so photographs from Iraq, and the gory image atop the lead post today is all too typical of them.
The horrors of the war aside, I keep coming back to this photo although I know nothing about it beyond the kindness and trust that it conveys -- two things all too lacking in this historic misadventure.
