Welcome Back, Joni

Sharp-eyed readers will note that we occasionally change the quote on the Kiko’s House masthead atop the blog.

Well, we have done so again at the prompting of Joni Mitchell, the singing-songwriting diva, who cites this quote from Rudyard Kipling’s “Epitaphs of the War” in the course of a New York Times story on her reemergence after a several years of chilling, er . . . retrospection.
This is a most interesting confluence since Joni is our favorite singer-songwriter and Rudyard one of our favorite novelist-poets.

Great minds think alike, or something.
If you don’t have time to dip into the Times story, Joni is working three shifts a day preparing a new album, a ballet and wrapping up a mixed-media show of her antiwar art.
Whew!
