British skateborder Dave Cornthwaite has ended an epic trek around Australia in what the Guardian News Blog calls "the latest in a recent spate of seemingly random acts of endurance." Cornthwaite earned his place in the record books after completing the longest ever journey on a skateboard -- travelling 3,638 miles (5,820km) around Australia.
