Nice Photograph du Jour

Once upon a time, Yours Truly would camp in a secluded part of the Lower Florida Keys that my friends and I called Africa.

Africa was an interlocking series of mangrove lagoons surrounded by a forest filled with reflex air plants and other sub-tropical flora. Africa's entrance was blocked by an off-putting garbage dump atop which sat the rusted hulk of a 1950s era Chevrolet, so our sanctuary was not visible from the nearest road. This afforded us undisturbed sunning and snorkling in the lagoons, which were rich with barracuda, octopus, sergeant major fish and other critters.

We minded our business and the critters theirs, and everyone got alone splendidly.
Do you have a nice photo that you'd like to submit? Please send it to kikokimba@gmail.com as a pdf attachment. Please, no blood and guts.
