Gratuitous Kitty Shot of the Week

Kiko's House regulars who share my love of cats are by now familiar with the mighty Kimba.

For those of you who aren't, you should know that he didn't always have movie star qualities and good looks. Kimba, you see, was dealt a bad hand as a kitten. He was born to a feral mother and was near death from starvation, eye parasites and other maladies when he was rescued by the Dear Friend and Conscience, who nursed him back to health.

Here are the DF&C and Kimba not long after his arrival at Kiko's House as an eight-week-old ball of fluff.
