April is jazz Appreciation Month and what better way to celebrate it than to share this marvelous photo -- certainly the most significant jazz portrait of the 20th century -- taken by Art Kane of a Who's Who (*) of jazz greats on a stoop on 126th Street in Harlem in 1958 for Esquire magazine.
