Iraq: Yet Another Day For Rose-Colored Glasses

I took Ralph Peters to task on Tuesday (see Iraq Through Rose Colored Glasses) for his ludicrous assertion in a New York Post column that everything was hunky-dory in Iraq despite suicide bombings, shootouts, assassinations and so on and so forth, and that the liberal media was blame for the tsunami of bad news.

On Wednesday, the liberal media was at it again, reporting that at least 29 bodies, most of them hanged, were found in Baghdad over a 20-hour period.

Thursday dawns and the liberal media just can't help itself, reporting on the audacious kidnapping of 30 employees of a Sunni-owned security firm in Baghdad by men wearing military-style camouflage suits.

Meanwhile, Michael Totten continues his blogging from Kurdistan, where the good news outweighs the bad.
